Serving The Veil . Healing The Wound . Witnissing The Thresholds

O
ne foot in this world, one foot in forever.

Guided by nurse and midwife Shelli Mullins and death doula educator Erin Merelli, this immersive two-day, certificate class is for those called to the sacred work of guiding others through life’s most profound transitions - birth and death. This course is not a lecture in the hard skills of doulaship. This class is a ceremony. It is the space where transformation occurs, when veil workers learn to serve with clarity and reverence.

You Will Receive:

  • Explore 10 specialized modules thoughtfully designed to help you navigate the liminal and honor the sacredness of life's thresholds. Transform your personal wounds, develop practices to cleanse your energy and hold space for others, construct meaningful ceremonies for life's major transitions, and support clients in navigating the delicate energies of birth and death.

  • We know that not everyone who wants to experience this curriculum can carve out two days to do so. We have kids, animals, and busy, beautiful lives to attend to. We also know that sometimes, one time isn't enough, and you may want to re-engage with the content again at your own pace. This is why you'll receive the full recordings of both days of class.

  • You'll have the option to complete a post-class exam and receive a Rights of Passage Facilitation Certificate of Completion at no additional cost and with no prior accreditation. This certificate symbolizes your studies and your preparedness to take them forward in both professional and personal settings, and is a meaningful measure of your time spent "Outside Ordinary Reality".

Meet Your Teacher: Erin Merelli

A death doula, educator and public speaker from Colorado, meandering her way through the country to expand our minds' narrative on death and dying. Her message is simple but not easy: We are all going to die, and to manage that well we need to talk about it. Erin is Co-Founder of the Deathwives, a training community providing a wide range of accessible death education to families and professionals, and most recently, founder of Until the End, where she takes the work on the road and brings students into next-level sojourns of the soul. Erins’ work invites us to consider mortality in individual, communal and environmental contexts and she teaches us about the autonomy of death, the expression of grief, and functional deathwork.
